Apostille of certified transcripts for use abroad

Filed with the Main Registry · SAREN

We apostille your certified transcripts through the GTU route (the Ministry of University Education's online system), then the MPPRE (Venezuela's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which issues apostilles). It's the document almost every country asks for along with your degree. We handle it and ship it to you.

FAQ

What happens if I show up at a university abroad with transcripts that aren't apostilled?

They won't accept them: without an apostille, your transcripts are just paper with no validity in that country, and your credit validation stalls. The degree alone is almost never enough.

Does the apostille on my transcripts go through SAREN?

No: transcripts and university degrees go through the GTU and are then apostilled at the MPPRE, by appointment.

How much does it cost?

The professional fee, from $45, covers full handling of the GTU and MPPRE process; official fees and shipping are extra.

What are they usually requested for?

To validate your studies or continue your program abroad.

Will you ship them to me?

Yes, wherever you are; we'll quote domestic or international shipping.

About this procedure

Did you know you can do this procedure yourself through the GTU and the MPPRE online system? It's absolutely true, and doing it on your own costs less. We're a service company: we don't charge you for access to the systems, which are public, but for taking the procedure off your plate. We do it for you, with no mistakes that cost you your appointment, while you get on with your life. And we send the document wherever you are, in Venezuela or abroad.

Almost every country that accepts your degree also asks for your certified transcripts, the record of your grades for your entire program, to validate your studies, get your degree recognized or enroll in a graduate program. And just like the degree, certified transcripts must be apostilled through the right academic channel: they're legalized through the GTU of the Ministry of University Education and then apostilled on the MPPRE online system (SLAE); never through SAREN (Venezuela's registries and notaries service). First you need to request your certified transcripts from your university's registrar's office, and that's where the process starts. The usual warning: if any detail entered doesn't match the physical document, it won't be apostilled, and no corrections are allowed on the day of the appointment. We take care of it for you: we check that the transcripts are complete and correct, handle the certification through the GTU, process the apostille with the MPPRE and hand them to you apostilled. Ideally, do it together with your degree in a single Academic documents package for abroad, and if the country requires a certified translation, we coordinate it. We send it wherever you are.
