FAQ

What happens if I submit an income letter written by me or by my employer?

The bank and the embassy reject it: they require a certification from a licensed accountant with visado. Without it, there's no loan and no visa.

Does it work for the bank and for the visa?

Yes, it's the document they ask for in both cases.

How much does it cost?

The professional fee from $65 includes the Colegio's visado for a standard net worth; if your net worth is high, the visado is adjusted and we tell you first.

Is it signed by a licensed accountant?

Yes, always, with signature, seal and security paper.

What do I need to give you?

Proof of your income: pay stubs, invoices, bank statements; we'll tell you which ones.

About this procedure

When you're applying for a loan, opening or updating an account, raising a credit card limit or applying for a visa, you're almost always asked for the same thing: proof of how much you earn, on paper that carries weight. And not just any paper: it has to be an income certification signed by a licensed public accountant, who vouches for the figure. If you're self-employed, if you have a firma personal (registered sole proprietorship), or if your income doesn't come from a single fixed salary, this is the document that opens those doors.
The part that trips everyone up is the visado: many banks and embassies require the certification to carry the visado of the Colegio de Contadores, and people have no idea where to even start with that step at the professional association. We put it all together in a single service: a licensed accountant reviews your pay stubs, employment letters, invoices or contracts, prepares the income report under the standards of the Federación de Colegios de Contadores Públicos (the national federation of accountants' associations), issues it on security paper with signature and seal, and handles the visado. All included, one price, with no need to chase the visado on your own.
This price covers the standard case of an individual. If your net worth is high, the association's visado is calculated on the size of that net worth and may be adjusted; we'll tell you clearly before we start. We don't sell a piece of paper: we sell the key your bank or embassy asks for, ready to hand in.
