About this procedure
Anyone who provides tourism services in Venezuela has an obligation many discover too late: the 1% special contribution. The Ley Orgánica de Turismo sets it on the gross income you earn each month from providing tourism services, and the money collected goes to tourism training, promotion and infrastructure through the Instituto Nacional de Turismo, INATUR. The obligation applies even if you don't have your RTN (Registro Turístico Nacional, the national tourism registry) or your tourism license yet.
The period is monthly, and the law gives you fifteen calendar days after each month closes to file and pay. Today it's done through the tourism ministry's online platform. Anyone who doesn't file, or pays late, faces fines and late-payment interest under the Código Orgánico Tributario (Organic Tax Code), and those back months keep piling up unnoticed until a tax audit arrives.
We take your gross income for the month from tourism services, calculate the 1%, upload the return to the platform and leave the payment ready within the deadline. If you have back months you never filed, we put together a plan to bring you up to date. The price starts at $40 per month filed. A lawyer reviews your situation and confirms with you before we start, no strings attached.
