So you don't overreport or underreport; FONACIT cross-checks figures with SENIAT.

About this procedure

Once a company is registered as a contributor, it has to file its LOCTI contribution, and this is where almost everyone gets tangled up, because the calculation has its tricks. The contribution is based on gross revenue, with no deduction for costs or expenses, applying the percentage that matches your business activity: two percent for casinos, liquor and tobacco, and lower percentages for all other activities. The amended law also changed how the contribution is assessed and filed, based on the SIDCAI system and on data cross-checked against your ISLR (income tax) return.
Doing it yourself carries a double risk: if you underreport, you're exposed to tax assessments (reparos), fines and late-payment interest when FONACIT cross-checks your figures against those of SENIAT (Venezuela's tax and customs authority); and if you overreport, because you didn't apply the gross revenue concept or the percentage correctly, you end up contributing money you didn't have to. In a contribution calculated on revenue and not on profit, every percentage point misapplied is real money.
We file it right for you: we calculate the contribution with the correct percentage on your gross revenue, file the LOCTI return with FONACIT in the SIDCAI system and get you up to date. The price starts at $120 and is adjusted to the volume of information. An accountant reviews your case and confirms before we start, no strings attached.
