FAQ
What happens if my document isn't recorded?
For third parties, it's as if it didn't exist. The bank, SENIAT (Venezuela's tax and customs authority) or a counterparty can refuse to recognize it, and any procedure that depends on it gets stuck.
How much does it cost?
The professional fee, from $90, covers the work. The official fee depends on the type of document and the number of pages; we give you the exact figure before we start.
Can I use this to record shareholders' meeting minutes?
No. Shareholders' meeting minutes have their own section; write to us and we'll take you to the right service.
Do you draft the document?
This service starts from a document you already have. If you need us to draft it, let us know and we'll quote it separately.
Do I have to go to the registry?
No, we do everything for you.
About this procedure
Document recording is the general procedure for entering into your company's registry file any document the law requires to be recorded that doesn't correspond to a specific set of shareholders' meeting minutes. We check that the document is in order, verify that it meets the Commercial Registry's requirements, file it for you and hand you the proof of recording. If your document is a set of shareholders' meeting minutes, a share sale or a board change, those have their own section: write to us and we'll redirect you to the right service.

- If you're not sure which one is yours, write to us and we'll guide you, no strings attached
