About this procedure
The National Registry of Contractors, the RNC, is the gateway to the whole world of government contracting. It's run by the SNC, the national public procurement agency, under the Ley de Contrataciones Públicas, and its certificate is what proves your company's legal, technical and financial capacity to do business with the government. The rule is tough and clear: without a current RNC you can't submit a bid in a public tender, however competitive you are. It's an entry requirement, not a nice-to-have.
The public procurement market is huge, construction, supplies, services for ministries, city halls, state governments and state-owned companies, and most companies are left out simply because they don't have the registration or have it poorly set up. Registration requires correctly uploading your legal, technical and financial information, including financial statements, and a mistake in that upload or a poorly done classification limits the areas and amounts you can compete for. It pays to do it right from the start.
We get you registered and qualified: we gather and digitize your documents, upload them correctly to RNC en Línea, the SNC's online system, classify your company properly and handle your certificate with the SNC. The price starts at $120 and is adjusted to the complexity of your case. A lawyer reviews your situation and confirms with you before we start, no strings attached.
