What's the NIL?
The labor ID number the RNET gives you, which you'll be asked for in other procedures.
How much does it cost?
The professional fee, from $55, covers the full registration; the RNET charges no official fee.
Do I need anything beforehand?
Yes. You must be registered with IVSS, BANAVIH and INCES.
Who's required to register?
Every company with employees.
About this procedure
Every company with employees in Venezuela is required to register in the Registro Nacional de Entidades de Trabajo, the RNET, with the Ministry of Labor. It's the registry that brings together all your labor and social security information, and it's where your Número de Identificación Laboral, the NIL, comes from: the code you'll be asked for in a whole range of procedures from here on. Without the RNET, your company simply doesn't exist as far as the government's labor side is concerned.
And there's one detail that sets the order for everything: to register in the RNET, your company must already be registered with the IVSS (Venezuelan Social Security Institute), BANAVIH (national housing bank) and INCES (national training institute; collects the employer training levy). The RNET is the final step, the one that ties all four fronts together. That's why this registration isn't a stand-alone procedure: it closes the loop on your company's labor compliance, and the Ministry's system, like every public portal, has its hurdles and requirements, and everything has to be entered without a single mistake.
We get you registered with your NIL in hand: we handle your RNET registration with the Ministry of Labor, enter all of the company's labor information correctly and leave you in good standing for the rest of your procedures. The price starts at $55 and is adjusted to your case. A lawyer reviews your situation and confirms everything with you before we start, no strings attached.
Legal framework and important notes
Ley Orgánica del Trabajo (LOTTT, Venezuela's Organic Labor Law)
- Registration in the RNET (Registro Nacional de Entidades de Trabajo) is mandatory for every employer, is done with the Ministry of Labor and grants the labor ID number (NIL)
- It requires prior registration with IVSS, BANAVIH and INCES
We guarantee our service, not what the agency decides. If something depends on them, we tell you clearly and in time.
