It enters your naturalization in the Registro Civil books so it's officially on record in Venezuela.
How much does it cost?
The professional fee, from $50, covers handling the recording; official registry fees, if any, are extra.
Does this get me my cédula?
Not directly; it gets the record ready so you can apply for your cédula with SAIME.
What does the timing depend on?
On the agency; we confirm it when we review your case.
About this procedure
When a foreigner obtains their carta de naturaleza, that document alone doesn't finish the process: for the naturalization to be fully effective, and for the person to get a Venezuelan cédula and passport from SAIME (Venezuela's immigration and ID agency), the carta de naturaleza has to be recorded in the Registro Civil. It's the final step that seals the new nationality in the system. Many people who already have the carta get stuck here without knowing this procedure is still pending, and without the recording they can't move forward with their ID. We handle the recording of your naturalization certificate or carta de naturaleza at the corresponding Registro Civil, check that it's correctly recorded with the necessary notes, and leave you ready for the next step with SAIME. We close the loop on your naturalization so you finally have your Venezuelan documents in hand.
