About this procedure

DT9 and DT10 are the permits the Instituto Nacional de Transporte Terrestre (INTT), Venezuela's land transport authority, issues so a line or company can provide public transport. DT9 covers the camioneticas (small route buses), vans and minibuses that run urban and suburban routes; DT10 covers the companies that run intercity routes or long trips between states. Without the permit that applies to you, the route is out of compliance, even if you run it every single day.
The good news: in June 2026 the INTT simplified the requirements. Today the file comes down to seven documents: the application addressed to the president or general manager of land transport, the RIF (Venezuelan tax ID), the partners' meeting minutes, the vehicle registration certificate, the notarially authenticated lease contract when it applies, the civil liability and personal accident policies, and the technical inspection of the units under the COVENIN standard (Venezuela's national technical standards). Fewer papers doesn't mean zero mistakes: choosing the wrong permit or filing minutes or a policy that doesn't comply is still what holds the procedure up.
We tell you which permit applies to you, review the seven documents, put together the file and handle it with the INTT. The price starts at $200 and is adjusted to the number of units and the type of route. A lawyer reviews your case and confirms with you before we start, no strings attached.
