About this procedure

The right to a registered trademark lasts fifteen years, and although that sounds like a long time, the date does arrive, and with it the obligation to renew if you want to keep what you built. The law gives you a window to do it, typically starting six months before the expiration date, and missing that window has a harsh consequence: the trademark lapses, the exclusive right disappears, and the name you worked years for becomes available again for anyone, including a competitor, to apply for.
It's one of the most painful oversights in intellectual property, because it isn't a formal error but an asset lost for not keeping track of a date. An established company that lets its trademark lapse can find itself having to start from scratch, or worse, negotiating with whoever got there first to get its own name back. Renewing on time is simply protecting an asset that's already yours.
We renew it for you and, better yet, we give you a heads-up ahead of time: we check your trademark's term, prepare and file the renewal with SAPI within the deadline, and follow it until it's renewed for another fifteen years. The price starts at $150 per class and is adjusted to your case. A lawyer reviews your situation and confirms with you before we start, no strings attached.
