FAQ

That you meet all your labor and social security obligations.

How much does it cost?

The professional fee, from $75, covers reviewing your status with every agency and handling the certificate; catching up wherever you're behind is quoted separately.

Mainly for contracting with the government and public tenders.

Why is it harder to get?

Because it depends on being up to date with every agency at once.

About this procedure

The labor compliance certificate is the biggest of all compliance certificates: it doesn't certify that you're up to date with just one agency, but that your company meets all its labor and social security obligations to your employees. The Ministry of Labor issues it after looking at your entire labor picture, RNET (national registry of employers), IVSS (Venezuelan Social Security Institute), BANAVIH (national housing bank) and INCES (national training institute; collects the employer training levy), and that's why it opens some of the biggest doors: without a labor compliance certificate, a company can't contract with the government or access a whole range of benefits and transactions.
And precisely because it's so comprehensive, it's the most delicate one to obtain. Falling behind on any single front, one month of FAOV (mandatory housing savings fund), one IVSS contribution, one INCES filing, an outdated RNET record, is enough for the labor compliance certificate to be denied. Applying for it without knowing where you stand with each agency is a recipe for rejection and for losing time right when you need it to close a deal or enter a public tender.
We handle your complete labor compliance certificate: we review your status on every front, identify what needs to be unblocked first and process the document with the Ministry of Labor so you have it in hand when you need it. The price starts at $75 and is adjusted to your situation. A lawyer reviews your case and confirms everything with you before we start, no strings attached.
