About this procedure

The ROTC, the freight transport operator registry, is how the Instituto Nacional de Transporte Terrestre (INTT), Venezuela's land transport authority, recognizes anyone who moves cargo on the country's roads. And here's what many people don't know: it isn't just for those who make a living hauling freight. According to the INTT itself, every vehicle in the freight category must have it, whether or not it's providing the service: pickups, panel vans, trucks, tractor units (chutos), trailers and semi-trailers. Without it, any checkpoint turns into a headache.
The procedure starts online, on the Planilla Única de Trámite (the INTT's single application form) on the INTT portal, but it doesn't end there: the vehicle has to go through an in-person technical inspection at an INTT office or at a mobile inspection drive, and the documents have to be complete and in the format the system requires. A RIF (Venezuelan tax ID) entered wrong, a registration certificate that doesn't match or a missed appointment are the stumbling blocks that turn a simple registration into a drawn-out one.
We take care of it: we review your papers, file the application on the INTT portal, coordinate the inspection for you and stay with you until you have your ROTC in hand. The price starts at $60 and is adjusted to how many vehicles you register. A lawyer reviews your case and confirms with you before we start, no strings attached.
